We had a fantastic night at the LGC Awards this week, where it was a privilege to stand as finalists and runner-up in the Innovation category alongside Derby City Council. The event was a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded council representatives and discuss the expansive potential of AI in transforming public services.
We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with Derby City Council and achieving runner-up status is a remarkable acknowledgment of the hard work and dedication our collaborative teams have invested in pioneering AI within public services. This recognition reflects our commitment to transforming community engagement through innovative technologies.
Over the past year, our AI assistants, Darcie and Ali, have successfully managed 485,000 phone calls and addressed over 1 million queries. These achievements have significantly reduced call volumes and improve operational efficiencies. More importantly, they demonstrate the potential of AI to enhance public sector operations amidst financial constraints and rising demands.
Inspired by this momentum, we are more driven than ever by the AI transformation opportunities in the public sector and continue our work with Derby City Council to expand AI integration into areas like Adult Social Care and Debt Management, projecting annual savings of £12.25 million. This ongoing effort not only underscores our collaborative commitment to innovation but also to delivering substantial value to the communities we serve.
